THE PROVIDED DESCRIPTION OF THE ERROR FOLLOWS. PROTOCOL ERROR: THE SERVER HAS UNEXPECTEDLY REFUSED OR FAILED A REQUEST MADE BY PEGASUS MAIL

This error does not occur when receiving POP mail. It only occurs when sending SMTP mail. I use Website4life for hosting my Email service and Website. I use Verizon to access the web. I check my Email for SPAM using MailWasher Pro from Firetrust. I don't have any idea of the cause of the error except I might have some mixup of password and User ID between Pegasus, mailwasher and Verizon.

Please help me with some suggestions to try.
