I have set up a new Gmail account. I sometimes access it from Pegasus Mail through POP3/SMTP, and sometimes I use a web browser for it.
Using the web interface, I have "archived" (this is the term used by Gmail) several emails. I have reviewed / checked (more than once) that the emails in question have no "label", specially not the "Inbox" label (nor any of the "tab" labels such as "Forum"). In the web interface, Gmail shows these emails in the "All mails" view only.
I use the "Selective POP3 mail download" feature from Pegasus Mail, and I still see these emails listed, available for retrieval, as if they still would be part of the "Inbox" in Gmail. Soon enough, the list of emails will be getting "too-long" for me to keep using "Selective POP3 mail download".
I have been searching the web and Gmail help documentation, and I have not found an answer. In fact, all the info I find suggests that these emails are no longer located in the Inbox in Gmail, but only in the "All mails" view. Moreover, when I search for "how to move an email out from the Inbox in Gmail" (or some similar terms), the information I found indicates that I should remove the relevant "labels", as I did.
Perhaps there is some other setting in Gmail? Something in Pegasus Mail? Or some other method in Gmail so to move these emails out of its "Inbox"?
Perhaps someone here has some similar experience?
TIA,
Ady.
