I checked the forum and altho some post are written about this I didn't find a solution.
I try to use direct ssl, so to receive, port 995 and to sent port 465. In gmail pop is activated.
In the TCP trace I find when trying to receive:
--- Wed, 07 Aug 2013 13:06:15 ---
Connect to 'pop.gmail.com' port 995, timeout 30.
13:06:16.542
13:06:16.659 22: Error -14 activating SSL session (locus 6014, type 4, '')
13:06:16.660 --- Connection closed normally at Wed, 07 Aug 2013 13:06:16. ---\0A\0A
I tried different types of certificate option even no certificate without any result.
I verified with my ISP if there wasn't some port blocking, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
As a test I tried also with Mozilla mail. I can sent and receive mail then.
The difference I see with Pmail is about the SSL definition.
SeaMonkey mail permits direct ssl with normal password, which is what I used for the test.
I don't see this option in Pmail, only things about a certificate.
I don't know what I have to put for the certificate, but even with the option without certificate I don't get the mail.
Browsing the internet on the error message doesn't give much of a clue either.
Unless I can use direct ssl with normal password, I don't see how I can use Pmail retrieving and sending gmail mail.
Any idea?
