Hello,
probably that was a fault but sadly I know that after doing it ... not before. As I changed some settings inside the nwe-Mail-folder inside p-mail was lost. It was there but not shown and so no new mail was selectable for anything. It was connected to the tree since the normal tree (for space reasons) is not located on the C:-Partition but on R:. Since New-Mail-Folder on other drives than C doesn't work (as someone stated) there is a second folder (outside) on C (called C:\PMAIL\MAIL) and the folders for other mail are all on R:\NEWMAIL. The new location (on R) is set inside p-mail. As I changed these settings (not folder settings but others) the connected folder for new mail was lost and as I connected it for new it was lost the next time the program was restarted. I thoght it is a little bit unhappy to connect the folder any time the program is started for new. So I tried to copy the files in C:\PMAIL\MAIL to the dir in R-location and change INI-Entry for new-mail-folder to the R-location too. The dir on C was not temperred only the PMAIL.INI-file was changed in the line reflecting the location of the new mail folder on disk.
As I now start p-mail all of the folders with older mails are off. The Mailbox location is correctly set but there are no folders at all. What can I do to re-get them? Any suggestions? And, by the way, for the problem that new mail is not shown in a special folder opened at startup time (as under XP) but must be connected to the folder tree (so it is at the bottom line of the list) to see the new mails (and the connection is deleted at program end so it has to be reset at new startup) do you have any suggestions too?
